My husband and I recently travelled to Mexico with Mytravel and as my husband is not a good flyer and over 6 ft tall, we decided to pay the extra money to upgrade to premair gold. We read some mixed reviews about this. We arrived at Gatwick Airport 2 hrs before the flight and as promised had express check-in. This meant that we only had 1 other couple in front of us, instead of the usual 200!. Check-in was hassle free as our meals and seats were pre-booked. We boarded without the usual hassles of standing in huge queues and when we got to our seats, were pleasantly surprised how comfortable and roomy they were. We were given complimentary drinks before take off and all drinks were free throughout the flight. The staff were extremely good and the service that we received on both the outbound and return flights was exceptional. It was well worth the extra money that we paid and we would have no hesitation about upgrading again, especially for a long haul flight.
