Advantages: Good location, all inclusive, jmc reps great Disadvantages: ants, sewage smell and in need of upgrading
.....
Our maid service was okay. The only days the maid didn't visit was Friday and Sunday. Sheets were changed once a week (except we had the extra change because of the ants) and towels twice a week. Our second lot of towels had big dirty marks all over them so that wasn't so impressive.
Food and drink...........
A big factor of your holiday when your all inclusive. The food we found to be reasonable. When your catering for 600 odd people it must be quite hard. The complex operated two resturants which I don't really think can cope with a complex full of people. There certainly didn't seem to be enough room for everyone (even though you could choose to eat outside, but I just couldn't because of the sewage smell) Everything at the atlantico playa is buffet service. This always included some kind of potatoes (whether it be chips ...
Advantages: 24 hour bars Disadvantages: No drinks facilities in rooms-a bit inconvenient
We Stayed at the Club Amigo Atlantico from 17th-31st July 2005 with Sunset Holidays, a subsidiary of Thomas cook.

I will now discuss the hotel under some relevant sub headings so you can get the lowdown, without having to read the whole of my ...
Advantages: Close to town, Quiet, Nice rooms Disadvantages: Expensive bar
We had immense trouble deciding on a hotel for my husband's birthday break in Amsterdam. We're trying to find a reasonably priced hotel that wasn't too shabby and in a decent location. After reviewing all the options, we went for the NH City Centre, if only because of it's 1920's styling and proximity to town.
We were not disappointed. The hotel is lovely with each room finished beautifully, if you like the modern thing (and we do!). The overall atmosphere is very calm and serene.
It took us forever to find the hotel, but that may have been because I insisted, as I had been to Amsterdam a couple of times before, that finding our way around would be easy, we could walk there and we didn't need a map. About an hour later we finally found the back of the hotel, exhausted from dragging our suitcases up and down a zillion canals. It IS ...
