The Barbizon palace was a fantastic choice of Hotels for us when we visited Amsterdam. For a start it is literally a one minute stroll from the station so nice and convenient.
When we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful and the public spaces were beautiful.
Our room although possibly a little smaller than i was expecting was lovely. It was clean and hygenic with pleasant furnishings and a large comfortable bed. There were french doors that opened out on to the canal so we could soak up the Dutch atmosphere even from our hotel room.
The Hotel is also very centrally located for any of the other attractions.
The hotel was well priced for what it was. I'm not sure of the usual room rates but a weekend deal here with Flights included cost just under £500 for the two of us.
A great deal and would highly recommend this hotel.
