I found it from Ocado for 12 Banrock Station Shiraz/Mataro, SE Australia £35.91 advertised as a price match. I think they have mixed up 6 bottles v 12 bottles. Anyway I bought a case as I can?t resist a bargain around 50% off Tesco?s price and one of my favourite Shiraz styled wines this one with Mataro, what?s that??

Australian wines always seem to taste so good because they are exceptionally fruity, very smooth, sometimes oaked and usually fairly cheap, just what I like and hence my interest. This wine is from South East Australia ...

My partner and I visited Girona in May 2007. We had pre booked the Ciutatde Girona but we weren't at all sure of what to expect. We travelled by bus from the airport to Girona bus station, (approx. 20minutes), and from there we took a taxi to the hotel which was about a 5minutes drive. There are, I believe, 2 buses an hour from the airport. The cost was around £2 i think.
Our first impression of the hotel was that it was spotless and stylish, couldn't have been more central as it was right in the heart of the old town. The reception area was modern, bright and comfortable though minimalistic. The free mini bar and welcome drink ( I believe it was a local wine) with some biscuits were much appreciated. A lift took us up to our floor. The corridor was quiet, and had a lush feel to it. Paintings on the large wall spaces.

For once I'm writing a wine review whilst not actually drinking it - shock horror ! Rest assured though it has been tried and tested within the last 24 hours. Whilst I am not a big fan of red wines, however, those I do like, I do like, and Banrock Station Shiraz Mataro is one of them.
