Advantages: Some useful training information, a few good insights. Disadvantages: Jan's life, dog training and points on behavior are all muddled together.
I have read, and enjoyed, Monty Roberts' book "The Man Who Listens to Horses" (he's the official "horse whisperer"). But this isn't the same calibre of book because it doesn't really seem to know what its purpose is...

Advantages: Close to town, Quiet, Nice rooms Disadvantages: Expensive bar
We had immense trouble deciding on a hotel for my husband's birthday break in Amsterdam. We're trying to find a reasonably priced hotel that wasn't too shabby and in a decent location. Hi, I work in the Travel Industry, so thought that it would be nice to pass on my knowledge on certain places. I really do hope you find this review helpful. Please do leave a rating at the end of the review.
Ok, lets start.
**********LOCATION**********
The Bilderberg Hotel Jan Luyken is very good for those who like a more cultural aspect. It is located near the museums and is in the South neighborhood in Amsterdam. This area is the heart of cultural Amsterdam, all the important museums are basically a stone's throw away. Opposite the hotel you will find the Rijks museum and the Van Gogh Museum and virtually on the doorstep are the famous P.C. Hooftstraat, the Vondelpark and the Leidseplein with its cosy cafés, trendy bars, theatres and cinemas. As if thats not enough only a few minutes' walk away are the Concertgebouw and the Van ...
