It really is Nice'n easy.

Advantages: Good even multi-tonal hair colour.
Disadvantages: Just the clearing up after.

I have used Clairol Nice'n easy permanent hair colour for at least 20 years and have been highly satisfied each and every time with the outcome. Having a daughter hairdresser, I can always get a good cut and the only job left for me to do is to hide the ever increasing grey. A spare 30 minutes can usually be found every 5-6 weeks to apply the colour. The range of colours is vast starting at somewhere around No.96 which is the lightest blonde and going through the range to Blue/black. I use 101 which is Natural Baby Blonde and now that Clairol have incorporated blends into the colour to give a multi-tonal look, I feel that my own natural hair colour is in there somewhere.! The complete kit retails for around £4.75, but look out for offers and sometimes they can be ,Buy one Get one free, if you are lucky enough to spot them. The box is ...

Review of Clairol Nice 'n Easy

A nice result but is it really that easy?

Advantages: excellent colour
Disadvantages: Quite hard to make sure youve applied it to all areas.

I have recently gone from blonde back to my natural colour and my hairdresser told me that despite putting a permanent brown on top of the blonde, it will fade and I would need to go back and keep having semi permanent dye on it to build up the pigment. Now I am trying to save a few pennies at the moment so decided to give it a go myself. I kept putting it off and putting it off until my hair got to the point where it looked quite gingery. It was only by chance that I was looking at the reduced aisle in Tesco and saw a box of this ?Nice and Easy? hair dye for just £1.80. I know nothing about the ?good and bad? of hair dye so thought this was probably as good as any. In the box I got two bottles of dye which were suppose to be mixed together and shaken and then applied to the hair immediately. I also got a big pouch of conditioner ...

Review of Clairol Nice 'n Easy

Nice n' Easy Or Nice n' Messy

Advantages: Easy, just as it implies.
Disadvantages: Cheap plastic gloves, not enough conditioner

It was time to colour my roots again today, oh come on, I’m 42 and going grey, I can’t help it - that’s life! Anyway, walking down my local supermarket aisle, I realised they did not have my usual colour of the brand I use, in stock. I usually use L’Oreal Excellence, and the colour called Natural Brown. They were offering 50p off the product too. Drat, I thought. No way was I going to use Dark Brown, that is too dark, almost black. I scanned the other products and spotted Nice n’ Easy. I had used it before, quite a while back, so I looked to see if they had my colour. Medium Brown. That will do, I thought and put it in my trolley. It was £4.49, which wasn’t bad, in fact, cheaper than my usual brand. The box contains a 60ml bottle of colourant, a 60ml bottle of developer, a 12ml sachet ...
