Advantages: proximity to Airport, Hamilton & St.George's Disadvantages: expensive
...Grotto Bay in Bermuda is a cute little Beach Resort situated between St. George's and Hamilton (the capital of the country). It is locationed close to the International Airport in Bermuda. It provides nice and exotic holiday villas. Advantages of the resort is that it has a private beach, pool, hot-tub, bar, sailing, and caves - that the guests have access to. The pool-side is beautiful, and the bar has swim up access. The view is amazing, and the island of Bermuda is spectular itself. The public bus is convienant and stops at the resort, and it can take you anywhere on the entire island for approximately £1.25 per way. The service is good and friendly. The disadvantage to Grotto Bay and resorts in Bermuda is that they do not offer an 'all-inclusive' experience, therefore holidays can be expensive. Overall I would recommend Grotto Bay...

Advantages: Close to the airport for transfers, Great Food. Disadvantages: Lots of seaweed gets washed up on the beach.
...Flight Out:
I used Virgin Atlantic who fly out here. The flying time is 8 hours but, because of the time difference, it was the equivilent to a 4 hour flight (great). Of course this means the opposite coming back. Its 8 hours flying but you have to add 4 hours onto the time. Not so good
Landed:
The resort is within a 10 minute drive of the airport. Once there, the drive with the coconut palm trees gives you the clues that you've well and truely arrived.

Reception:
The reception staff are helpful and friendly but with any complaints, if you should have any, ask to speak to the manager. The counter is a long one and can cope with quite...

Advantages: Good for families, excellent views and wide range of facilities Disadvantages: Crowds of people, long meal queues, lots of hills and steps
...A group of us (aged 50 - mid-70s) were touring round western Turkey on a private tour and we were moved to the Pine Bay at the last minute when the hotel we should have been staying in developed problems with its air-conditioning and hot water systems. We were grateful for the move from that point of view, but the Pine Bay is not the sort of place any of us would have chosen for ourselves. It is a huge resort, primarily aimed at the "all-inclusive" market, with a fair smattering of time-share visitors as well.
That said, the place occupies a lovely location (about 5km outside Kusadasi town) and is beautifully landscaped. When you look back at the resort from the beach, the dozens of little bungalows are barely noticeable, so well are they set into the pine-covered hillside. The main hotel building is a very modern confection...
