Advantages: Close to the airport for transfers, Great Food.
Disadvantages: Lots of seaweed gets washed up on the beach.

...Flight Out: I used Virgin Atlantic who fly out here. The flying time is 8 hours but, because of the time difference, it was the equivilent to a 4 hour flight (great). Of course this means the opposite coming back. Its 8 hours flying but you have to add 4 hours onto the time. Not so good Landed: The resort is within a 10 minute drive of the airport. Once there, the drive with the coconut palm trees gives you the clues that you've well and truely arrived. All in: The hotel is fully-inclusive so all the food (even in the 2 specialist food restaurants) is all in, as are MOST drinks. If you want a bottle of 'champers' with a meal, this is extra. Advantages: Wonderful, majestic hotel
Disadvantages: Not cheap and oh so very, very pink

...Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa at Walt Disney World in Florida is the flagship of all the Disney hotels located at Walt Disney World (WDW) and is based upon a turn of the century Floridian resort. The hotel is predominantly white and pink with bright red roof tiles that make it visually quite stunning and make it look almost like cotton candy: this is definitely the hotel that will appeal most to little girls who want to be a Disney Princess!! There is the main building of the hotel which contains the lobby as well as shops and restaurants and some of the more expensive hotel rooms and suites. The other hotel accommodation is located in 7 buildings dotted around the property. ...I have been to this resort twice, the first to get married and the second just to see if our recollection of the place lived up to the memories of the first time. Both times I have to say were excellent. The staff are very helpful and attentive but not in a pushy way. The rooms vary according to the grade you have booked, the first time we had a garden view Jacuzzi room which was fabulous the second time we had an ocean view room which was great except we missed the Jacuzzi. The beach is down some steps and across a small road and is Ok! It is a sandy beach but sometimes the waves and undertow can be a bit strong. The daily spa treatment is amazing. On arrival you are given a timetable of you included treatments, if for some reason a time or treatment is not suitable they will try and change it but sometimes due to the other bookings may...
