Advantages: Great location Disadvantages: Not that family friendly
The Radisson SAS Waterfront was a great hotel situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, with views of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Robben Island and Table Mountain. The hotel was just on the edge of the town centre. Most hotels are located around the Victoria and Alfred waterfront complex and, as such, have particularly steep prices. The Radisson was walking distance to the V&A waterfront but did not suffer from extortionate prices (our room came in at about £70 a night). It had a sizeable car park and was well situated for driving down the coast of Cape Town.
At the time of booking, we were not offered a choice on rooms so ended up with a basic room only. This was fine but we missed out on views of the harbour that could be seen from rooms at the back of the hotel. The room was spacious (approx 36 sq meters) with a king size ...
Advantages: Gorgeous design, clothes that last and last, clothes that make you feel special Disadvantages: Price
Intro

The Clothes

Advantages: Near to tram line, excellent city Disadvantages: Bit far from city center

I e-mailed every hotel which I could find with a budget of under £60 per night for a double room. Only a handful of them replied all except on said either that they were fully booked or that they didn’t accept single night bookings over the weekend. The only hotel which replied was the HotelBema, unfortunately it was about an hours walk from central station where we were due to be dropped off in Amsterdam. But luckily Amsterdam has a very good public transport system we were able to ...
