~*~CALIFORNIA APARTMENTS~*~
We stay in the California apartments which is actually a hotel its part of the coral beach hotel chain.
The apartment itself was great.
Balcony ~ nice size, with table and chairs and room to move.
Bathroom ~ large size, has normal sink, normal toilet, nice big mirror, bath tub with a shower over it.
Bedroom / living room ~ massive, had table and chairs, sofa bed, tele and a massive mirrored wardrobe.
Kitchen ~ normal little kitchen with fridge freezer, lots of cupboards, cooker, plates, knifes and all the rest you would need to cook a meal.
This apartment was a lot more than what we expected even had our own safe.
If you are staying in a room only then this hotel would be fine for disabled people as there is a lift but all the other accommodation in this hotel is access from stairs unless you ...

We have stayed at the Sun Beachapartments 5 times now so that fact alone shows our endorsement. There are located a 6 walk to the sandy beach and long promenade and 13 minutes to the town centre. The apartments are well equipped but the fridge need need replacing.Very comfortable and spacious with a nice bathroom. Two swimming pools and some low key organised activities if you wish to join in. There is a restaurant but in our opinion you are best to dine out in one of the delightful restaurants in the resort. Ther is a bar but it is dingy and naff. also a very nice snack bar. The reception staff are as good as we have come accross anywhere. Also there is a small mini market on the complex. A quiet location. ...

The Jardim 1 is an older resort in Albufiera near the old part of town in the Algarve in Portugal.
A BIT OF HISTORY BEHIND OUR HOLIDAY:
We booked this break through a ?bargain? special arrangement through a company called Resort point Services and had had a few problems with the so this was a sort of ? Let?s do this or lose our money? sort of decision. We had no choice of accommodation and we going to go where they put us.
Two days before our departure they phoned to say our accommodation was being changed from the Bahia Plaza to the Jardim 1 in Albufiera. I looked up Jardim 1 and there were mixed comments but that is often the case so I packed extra shampoo, conditioner, soap etc and I gathered there would not be freebies.
