This branch of Nandos is situated on the bottom floor of the bullring and is a popular attraction for lunchtime shoppers as the queue out the door indicates. Once you get a table though the atmosphere is cosy, vibrant and ethnic. They have a system whereby you get given your table and then you go up to the order station to place your order. You are then given a spoon with your table number. If you order a soft drink you get endless refills. The average wait I have had for my food is around 15-20 minutes. The food is freshly cooked and tastes delicious. It's not the best place for vegetarians as nandos specialises in chicken. And so virtually any spanish/mexican chicken variety is there. The main dishes are chicken burgers, chicken pitta my favourite), whole chicken, 1/2 chicken and once you've decided what you would like you get to chose the strength of sauce that the chicken is cooked in. This ranges from a herb and lemon sauce to a very hot peri peri sauce. There is a good range of side dishes to accompany your chicken, with chips, coleslaw, corn on the cob, onion rings and even some olives as appetisers. All in all I think teh quality of nandos food is worth the wait. The atmosphere is inviting (sometimes the tables can be quite cosy/close together) and I would recommend is as a lunchtime stop or a casual dinner.

I like Nando's. There is so much more you could say about them & this branch in particular. Martin.

You could have possibly done with including a few more specifics to the specific branch of Nnado's - ie how many it seats, ability to book tables etc. In addition, whilst Nando's does specialise in chicken its few vegetarian dishes are very good (or certainly ar at the Manchester branches).
