...The Jazz Bar
Previously the Jazz Bar, now called the slightly more trendy Bar Monaco. This bar is situated on the newly developed (with regards to night life) Albert Dock just outside the main Liverpool city centre. The Albert Dock is certainly the most trendy place currently to be seen on a night out in Liverpool, but unlike the more trendy Blue Bar and its private members club the Baby Blue, the Monaco goes for a rather different approach. Advantages: Allow anyone Disadvantages: Can get cramped
...A very rustic looking bar with a great clientelle. Drinks are not at all dear and are served in a prompt friendly manner. The people in the bar are a good mix and tend to be fashionable although that is not the look of the bar. There are three floors. Ground floor is the main bar with fruit machines etc.. while the upper level is a slightly more personal bar that is not very large but has more sit down areas.
The bar as a whole is not a typical, trendy London bar but more of an old style bar. The lower ground floor is the toilets. Dress is anything, as there is no door policy and no bouncers visible. Food is available in the day time and is reasonable. In the heart of central london this is an ideal start point before a large night out....

...De Coubertin´s Sports Bar
The Sports bar as its known located just off Mathew St in Liverpool is a novel idea and well worth a vist. I recoomend this bar to anyone who likes either sport, Food or beer.
The bar is preseted in the style of an american diner/bar slightly similar to cheers. The walls are decorated with sports pictures and memrobilia particulary of past and present Liverpool and Everton Players and other local Sports People. Arround the bar on television screens are various sporting events like the cricket, football rugby and any other sporting event being televised. With the sport on this bar is not for those who like to listen to music when out.
The bar supplies a good variety of drinks and a larger than average draught lager section. Food at the sports bar is delicious and highly recommended, portions are large...
