Go horse riding on the beach early morning,
Visit the caves in Lucayan National Park, once occupied by Indians but now home of nursing bats,
Go to Paradise Island (4 miles long and ½ mile wide) with its 17 beaches and visit the magnificent Atlantis Hotel Aquarium http://atlantis.com/flash.aspx by either crossing the bridge or taking a ferry,
Or a 25 minutes catamaran ride to Blue Lagoon Island (3 miles northeast of Paradise Island) www.dolphinencounters.com and swim with Bottlenose Dolphins; only snag here is you have to reserve months in advance). The beautiful film "Splash" was filmed on Blue Lagoon.

Advantages: The location is fantastic Disadvantages: It's not as special as it likes to think that it is.
For many years I worked for a company that had a US office in New Jersey which I used to visit several time each year. The port is very large, and right at the centre of town, allowing many ships of any size to dock directly without tendering. This is a big advantage over most small ports, and Nassaua is also much cheaper to dock at for most ships. This leads to a daily influx ...
