Everyone goes to Natal for the beaches. There are plenty of beaches in town, along the litoral. Many travel agencies in town organize tours to the sand dunes where you can be driven around in a kind of buggy jeep up and down the dunes. In the night the night-life along the beaches is never dull. There are quite a few discos and restaurants and it is nice to stay by the sea. Hotel Natal in Avenida Rio Branco is a good place to stay, it is not too expensive and have rooms of different sizes. Do not miss going to a restaurant called Raizes in Avenida Campos, they have plenty of food, and it is not too expensive either. I went there twice!
