The National War Museum of Scotland is split into a number of different sections each with it’s own theme and display area. When you go into the main entrance there is choice of turning left, right, or going upstairs. This gives visitors the feeling that they are exploring history, rather than just following a set of arrows around a set route. When I go into any museum I do not like being what I should look at, I want to study what I find interesting. ... ...wars over the past 400 years. The museum includes all the military items that you would expect, such as uniforms, medals and weapons etc., but there is also a lot of emphasis placed on explaining the history behind battles and the significance of different weapons and the behaviour of the troops during a war or battle. what a combination, National treasure is so dire I find it difficult to imagine how these 2 could be paired up together other than a Disney smash cash tie in. take my advice, buy POTC on its own!
