Having just returned from a 4 day break at the Butlins Shoreline Hotel I have to say I was pleasantly suprised and enjoyed a fantastic midweek break. I had never stayed at a Butlins before as we normally venture abroad however due to having a young baby and a weeks holiday to take before April we thought wed give it a go!! I really didnt like the look of the chalets and apartments so was very pleased when I stumbled upon the Shoreline Hotel located at the BognorRegis resort. We got an early booking discount when placing our booking and paid £385 for a Columbus Quarters room for 2 adults 1 child, 1 toddler and 1 infant on a bed and breakfast basis. I did check what the price was a week before we were due to go and it had been reduced to £345 but there were only a couple of rooms left so you wouldnt get best pick.

HOTEL ITSELF
The Shoreline hotel is Butlins grand move away from chalet style accommodation to a more upmarket hotel style. The shoreline hotel was opened in late 2005 and the sheen has not yet worn off! Following its success another hotel is already planned on the Bognor resort.
All the rooms in the hotel are half board
The Shoreline hotel offers three grades of room.
1. Columbus' Quarters,
2. Hook's Cabins
3. Nelson's Staterooms.

These are the mid value rooms and have a wealth of facilities, these include sea or patio views, floor to ceiling windows with a central opening panel to allow a sea breeze to enter the room. After having read many reviews about Butlins in BognorRegis that were not at all good, with only the odd one saying a few nice things, I was really dreading my time there. However I have been very pleasantly surprised indeed.
At the beginning of the year I decided to save the tokens from the Daily Express newspaper for a short break to a choice of venues around the South Coast. After completing all the forms and sending the relevant tokens, a cheque for £38.00 and chosen the places and dates we were given Butlins at BognorRegis from the 8th September throught to the 12th September, which was my Grandson Luke's 3rd Birthday.
