Advantages: Clubs, Clubs and more Clubs, breathtaking scenery Disadvantages: Expensive

Myself and Paul went to Ibiza in the summer of 2001 so any prices listed below have probably changed since the introduction of the Euro.
We paid around 189.00 pounds each for a week’s self-catering in San Antonio in early September. You can still find holidays for around this price in many of your local travel agents. There are plenty of hotels and self-catering apartments scattered around the island, ranging from the very grotty to 5 star luxury.

Before we departed from Manchester, excited but apprehensive, I asked resort staff if we could be placed as far away as possible from San Antonio or Ibiza town centre, and that they most certainly obliged. We duly arrived at the Balanzat Apartments, Puerto de San Miguel at 11pm on a Friday evening in September, loud booming music – none, people throwing up all over – none, sex, drugs and wild parties on the beach – none – you should have seen the long faces on the young couple who travelled on the same coach from the airport!

As promised, here is the Ibiza Hippie review, which is a continuation (kind of) of my Escada Sexy Graffiti op.
Every year Escada brings out a different perfume in an abstract heart-shaped bottle with a ribbed lid. And I have a bit of an obsession with more
