Advantages: Fantastic standard in both the rooms and the restaurant. Disadvantages: Lack of leisure facilities.
one that I would love to visit again it would be the Drumossie in Inverness. I now live in Inverness, in fact only a 5 minute drive away from the hotel, but given the choice I would love a weekend staying at the hotel. Only this time we will invite the grandparents up and let them look after the little one during the night.
This is a lovely hotel that should not fail to make any trip to Inverness more of a success. ...
Advantages: Easy to find, great base for sightseeing Disadvantages: None really
Just back from 3 nights stay in this hotel.
Firstly, it was very easy to find you can actually see it from the A9 so whether you care arriving from the North or the South it is just minutes from the slip road off of the A9 taking you into Inverness.
The hotel has its own large car park, which is free. My first impression from the outside was that it looks a bit run down. The outside probably needs a lick of paint and is a bit dated but once inside I was pleasantly suprised. You enter into a large reception area, to the right of you there is the large restaurant and to the left is the large bar. The reception was very well kept, clean and welcoming and 100% to the reception staff would could not have been friendlier. Booking in took only a few minutes and was very easy. The lifts to all floors were situated directly across ...
Advantages: good view and food Disadvantages: none
We stayed at the Maple Court for two nights at the end of October
The location was fantastic - a nice 5-10 minute walk from downtown Inverness, along the river Ness. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance
The room is large, and very clean. The furnishings are a bit cheap, and the bed is just okay. Sheets and towels were clean and average. The bathroom was very clean.
The staff were great, and the morning breakfast was great. The chef will make you whatever you\'d like for breakfast.
The food was wonderful with brilliant portions. Everything was fresh and prepared beautifully. The bacon and egg scrambles and salmon crepes were terrific.
Gardens and river setting is just out of this world.
I would stay there again. ...
