Disadvantages: Lacks the charm other parks have

I visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach last year and I thought it was great value for money. The weather in Blackpool wasnt always great during my 4 day stay but this park didnt disappoint where ride were concerned or eating out. The general atmosphere of this park is happy and fun which is great for the family however the atmosphere here is nothing compared to theme parks like Disneyland or Universal Studios, but you get what you pay for with this park in the sense of good rides and entertainment. To pay in to the park you need to buy wristbands, I think that if you want to get the best out of the park the Ultimate Daily Wristband is the best deal, however if you dont really want to do many rides or are not fit to for various physical reasons the Pleasure Beach Pass will probably be enough for you and then when in the park you can ...

Blackpool Pleasure Beach....A Real Pleasure!

Advantages: Fantastic rides, fairly cheap, clean and tidy, a brilliant day out
Disadvantages: Some of the rides a bit uncomfortable, have to pay extra for some things

Intro I felt I would write a review on Blackpool Pleasure Beach as I have now been twice and feel I should let others know how great this place is. Being a big fan of themeparks, I was honestly hesitant to visit Blackpool Pleasure Beach as I imagined it being a few fairground rides and I genuinely didn't think it'd compare to other places I'd been to. However, it is now my favourite themepark of all time, and here's why... PRICES Adult tickets are usually around the £25 each mark, which is brilliant compared to places such as Alton Towers who charge around £36. Prices change throughout the year - for example, if you visit the park on June 10th, for two adults and two children it will only cost you £74.00. For two adults and two children to visit Alton Towers on the 10th June, it will cost you a much more expensive £102 ...

Atlantica Golden Beach Hotel - Golden all the way

Advantages: All inclusive with great food, no kids, great staff
Disadvantages: None

We wanted to have a break away just the two of us without our kids and knew we wanted an all inclusive break. After much deliberation we decided to try the Atlantica Golden Beach and were not disappointed. This is a Thomson Gold Hotel and we received Gold service from the minute we booked. Everyone was so friendly. When we arrived into Paphos airport we were quickly shown to our bus and because it is a Gold hotel you are dropped off first. The Manager and staff were there to greet us with drinks and a short information session about where restaurants, bars, facilities were. We had upgraded our room to a Double Superior and this meant that we were guaranteed a sea view along with a bottle of wine, fruit, bathrobes, slippers, television, cd player and canopy over our large double bed.
