Just how you picture a theatre should be
Advantages Top plays with well known actors.
Disadvantages Bars get a bit crowded during intervals
Just off the main shopping centre, with street level access, is a theatre with nearly all the trimmings you’d expect to see in a London Theatre. It has one main stage overlooked by an audience seated on various levels with, as you would expect, boxes to either side of the stage. If you’re a tall person don’t choose to sit in the Upper Level. For good reason they’re the cheapest seats - no leg room and no comfort. There are bars situated on all floor levels but because these areas are small, it tends to get very crowded during the intervals. I’ve always found the staff very helpful and have actually gone out of their way to assist me on several occasions. The performances are always first class with well known names regularly appearing. All in all, why bother travelling to London when you have it all in Cardiff.
