The world famous skyline of New York is always shown on television- especially on Friends and Die Hard with a Vengance. Normally the city looks more glamerous on the big screen yet New York is a beautiful city. The shopping is out of this world and even men can shop till they drop. There are huge department stores like: Sears and Bloomingdales, and even the largest Nike store in the World. The Americas really do know how to eat- there are thousands of places to eat at ranging from hot dog stands to fine dining. Not forgetting all the sights like the Statue of Liberty and Central Park. If you are lucky you will also see a few celebs around the city! I highly recommend New York- especially around Christmas time as the decorations are fantastic!

Hi. I didn't find this review that helpful I'm afraid. I'm going to New York this summer and I would of course like to see some more details in your review: like where you stayed, how you got around, is there a resturant that you really enjoyed eating at, how much did it cost to see and do stuff etc. Regards Gard
