...Upon your return to the Affinia 50 after spending each day out exploring the city, you're greeted on the doorstep by the VERY (almost overly) polite doorman who utters a "Welcome home" to each resident. Gets a little tiresome after a while, but adds to the whole ambience of being in New York, I guess! Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for New Year, we'd checked it out on their website and on trip advisor. We were not disappointed, beautiful reception area and helpful receptionists. When we got into the room, we were amazed - it looked just like the website.
