Comfortable business class hotel in great location

Advantages: Great mid-town location. Newly renovated
Disadvantages: Large. Service is spotty.

...It's main competition is the Sheraton a block away on 7th Ave. The Hilton is a huge hotel (over 1000 rooms with 44 floors) and is a busy during convention season. We visited New York in October and stayed at the Hilton for 2 nights with our children and what follows below is a recap of our experience. Great Experience in Soho

Advantages: Price, friendly staff, free breakfast
Disadvantages: Location for some people maybe

The price of this hotel via Expedia drew me to it but I am SO glad I booked. From the moment you're greeted by the efficient and friendly staff you feel like you've made the right choice. We were greeted daily by the staff and often returned "home" to be offered lemonade or freshly baked cookies. The rooms are modern, clean and with very good facilities. A quick walk takes you to the excellent Soho shopping and Tribeca restaurants and also the slightly grittier area of ChinaTown was also minutes away. Subways are close by so it's easy to get to anywhere in the city. Restaurants nearby are amazing... Bubby's, Nobu, Odeon, The Harrison to name a few. We spent 10 days here and the room was easily big enough and comfortable enough for that period of time. ...

Not worth the 4 stars rating

Advantages: Great location, better than a days inn.....
Disadvantages: Not MUCH better than a days inn....... not very clean, so-so service.....

A palatial palace.

Advantages: Large rooms by NY standards, good service, quality furnishings.
Disadvantages: Expensive.

Review of New York Palace, New York City

In The Middle Of It All

Advantages: Great rooms, Great Service, Great Internet Access, Great Breakfast
Disadvantages: Noisy rooms, No free food/drink in the rooms
