W new york, Lexington Av.
Review of W New York, New York by sageman1

Advantages: Well positioned, close to a lot of attractions
Disadvantages: Dull, no views, pricey

...wall and metal chimney and the concierge often looked like he could not be bothered. On the whole I would not reccommend this hotel, try alternatives of the Marriott (30 seconds walk away) or its sister hotel the W on Times Square (far supoerior if budget allows). ... Read review

The Square Alternative!
Review of White Castle, New York by mrsxopher

Advantages: Yum Factor
Disadvantages: ***BURRRRRRRRRRRRP***FART****BURP***

...I have been eating White Castles since I was a little girl of about 4! And I will never forget those lovely things no matter how long I live in England! And it should be noted at this point, that to call it a Restaurant, is a bit of an American thing. See, in America we don’t call them take-aways. At best they are drive-thrus, but no matter, either way, you either have a fast food restaurant or a sit-down restaurant. But, if they serve food, and ...
...is taken directly from the White Castle website --Which I have only just discovered. And considering it is THEIR site, I figure they can give you the history more concisely than I can, so I am taking it literally from the time line they provide - except where I can make it easier to explain or say or type - NOW, if that doesn’t cover my butt for plagiarism, I give up trying!) In 1921, with $700 of borrowed money, (that would be £350 translated with ... Read review

Eating with the Stars
Review of Planet Hollywood, New York by adzdl7

Advantages: nice food and not over priced, service was ok
Disadvantages: always very busy you could be forced to stand in line for a long time

i enjoyed it as there is allot of movie props etc to look at and i can imagine it to be good fun for a group party. personally i was just there with my girlfriend but enjoyed it. the place was very busy and we had to wait in a line for almost 35 mins. the food was nice and filling and of good value for time square. i recommend it for young people or families to go and eat before or after a show. as we did, for people goin to time square for a show ... TGI Fridays - New York, Times Square
Review of T.g.I. Friday´s, New York by rainbow64pink

Advantages: Great food, huge portions, value for money
Disadvantages: a bit busy at lunchtime

I visited New York in April this year and had always wanted to go to TGI Fridays just to try it out and see if there was any difference to the ones I had been to in Scotland and wasnt disappointed. I found the food excellent value for money considering the portion sizes you get which are huge and the staff were friendly and helpful and couldnt do enough. Try the New York Cheescake which is fantastic. Great atmosphere watching the goings on in Times ... Read review

Diamond review   A Celebrity Chef Earns His Star
Review of Otto Pizzeria, New York by tastebud

Advantages: Delicious, authentic Italian food at reasonable prices
Disadvantages: Pizzas often arrive before starters are finished

...of Italy, and headed to Otto Pizzeria & Enoteca. Otto's interior calls to mind an Italian train station. Instead of being given a number to tell you when your table is ready, you are given a ticket with the name of an Italian city printed on it. When your city is displayed on the departure board, your table is ready. Otto only accepts reservations for parties of 6 or more, so if you're there on a busy night expect a wait. On our first visit, a Saturday ...
...to be seated. By the end of the meal, we all agreed it had been worth the wait. Also, there's a spacious bar area where you can get a head start on tasting from Otto's enormous (500 bottle) wine list (by the glass: $8-$14; bottles start around $20). The restaurant's very approachable, down-to-earth sommelier will help you select a wine based on what you like and what you're willing to spend. (Given that this is solidly good, simple Italian fare, ... Read review
