Advantages: The scenery,great value room service,food to die for
Disadvantages: the first day, read and see.

We reserved a lake view studio suite which we received but it was on the ground floor in the corner and was told we would not be able to change rooms because all other similar rooms were sold out in our category. Thats fine but all 6 nights and no one contacted us concerning a room change the entire stay after our request was put in. One of the main reasons we picked the hotel was for the Internet service in the room. No where on the website or during ...
...charge for Internet service. Started looking for the coffee plunger that was to be in our suite and opened up the dishwasher to find it full of dishes! They were clean though. After putting the dishes away a coffee plunger was immediately brought to us. Now here is the one that made me write this review...we pull back the bed and found the sheets had not been changed! Hair was all over the sheets! First time I have had that experience in 20 years ...

Powderhorn Chateau- five star hotel in Tongariro National Park,NZ

Advantages: Luxury, friendly atmosphere
Disadvantages: Middle of nowhere if you aren't skiing or hiking

Hokiana Heavan!!!

Advantages: Great family run hostel with an 'At Home' feel
Disadvantages: Quite small

Review of Globe Trekkers Hostel, Hokianga, New Zealand

The place where dreams can come true!!

Advantages: Amazing place, swimming with dolphins
Disadvantages: Need good weather go in November!!

Review of Bay of Islands Resort, Paihia

Not the best but not the worst

Advantages: Great view on roof, cheap
Disadvantages: no free lockers and not that friendly

Albert Park Backpackers in Auckland is a very cheap place to stay, the location is great but it was not the friendliest hostel I have stayed in. I flew in from LA which is a 12 hour flight and was pretty tired as I am sure you can imagine, I pleased that the directions I had from the hostel where easy to follow, I just had to jump on a shuttle bus, this was easy to find and cost $15.
