Ah,my home town!

So im a geordie born and bred.
I love my home town of Newcastle.
So I just thought id write a review incase you were thinking on taking a trip up here.

Firstly im goin to talk about shopping because thats my favorite thing to do and my area of expertise.

The main place for shopping is Eldon Square, which includes John Lewis and Fenwick.
Eldon Square also has all your high street shops.

The other main place is Northumberland street, which also has high street shops.

My favorite place to shop has to be the Metro Centre in Gateshead.
It is easy enough to drive to.
But you can also catch the number 100 bus from city centre, or catch a train from the station.
Only takes about 10mins.
Metro Centre has all your high street shops, and one off shops too.
Tones of places to eat, bowling ally, laserquest and cinema.

My other area of expretise is food,so lets get onto places to eat!
There are so many places to eat in Newcastle,so I cant mention them all.
But there is "The Gate" which has places like Frankie and Benny's and Nando's.
You could go to Queyside, where they have lovely Italian places.
My personal favorites are Azzuri and Unos.
Theres also a seafood restraunt called 'The Big Mussel 'if you like that kind of stuff.
Also theres China town!
If you go to Stowell Street, they have the best places to eat.

If you like museums, theres the Life Science Centre.
I went here when I was studying science, and I found it very interesting.
If you like art, there are two good art galleries, Baltic and Laing.
Also id recommend the big red sight seeing bus.
It takes you to see all the historical places.

Well Newcastle is known for its great night life!
And being a geordie myself,I can assure you ITS TRUE!
Before I go on,I will just warn you,if you do visit Newcastle,do not go out on Saturday night.
Will cost you a tenner just to get in most clubs!

Anyway....
Id recommend the Lodge.
Its the place Ant&Dec own.
You might bump into them as I have a few times, yay!!!

I also love 'The Living Room', 'Apartment' and 'Foundation'

If you like your more classy bars,go near central station.
Bars like the 'Long Bar' 'The Lounge' and 'Revoloution'

I would give prices, just I havnt been out drinking for a long time, and they would probably be wrong.

I would recommend Newcastle highly!
Its the place I will always call home and I love it!
