The powerhouse in waterloo street in the so called "pink triangle" is the only gay night club in newcastle,there you can have a great night out and dance your socks off,there is a selection of "cheap and cheerful" food also on offer, drinks are not too bad either depending on which night you go. There are other gay orientated pubs in the area such as The Village, which is part of the Powerhouse, The Barking Dog,The Yard,Rockies Bar, Heavens above and the newly opened Strings.
If you feel peckish after clubbing you can also visit Sanjays fish and chip shop which is opposite the Powerhouse and its open until the early hours of the morning.

I just wanted to say that I love the powerhouse and have had many a good evening there.
Unfortunately I am in Edinburgh now and all my friends back have become boring and never
go there anymore.
