Newquay is a really cool place to goon holiday. It has everything you can want - if you go the right time of the year, if you don't then it can become boring and the weather can be terrible.
The beach that I would reccommend people going to is Fistral. This beach has everything. During the year they hold surfing competitions and this is the best time to visit. They have so much going on at this time. As weel as the competition they will have a skating half pipe, bar on the beach, small market shops and loads of really cool food stands offering a wide range of choices.
Also on the beach they have toilets, showers, food bar and good parking places. There is some free parking but other parts costs. If you do want a good parking space you have to arrive early.
In Newquay town they have a wide reange of surfing shops and arcades. The shops sell everything from boards to clothes to stickers. A good shop to go to is no worries which has an excellent range of stickers.
If you need somewhere to stay there are plently of b&bs right on the beach and loads of holiday parks everywhere. It is a great place to go with either your family or your friends.

Advantages: A quiet and restful island with plenty to do and see that takes you back at least 30 years. Disadvantages: You may just go to sleep from the quiet.

Advantages: Interesting menu. Nicely presented food. Lovely light and airy location. Stunning views. Disadvantages: Hard to park nearby during the day and summer season.
