Newquay has absolutely everything! It is situated in the most beautiful area of England..Cornwall! There is something for everyone, young or mature, male or female, families or couples! Fistral beach is one of the most stunning beaches which the UK has to offer, it is always kept spotless and clean..even through the busy summer months! There is constant lifeguard attention and it is very family friendly. Newquay has many attractions, including a zoo, nearby water parks and theme parks, a dairy park..lots of fun days out for kids. As far as accommodation goes there is something for all tastes, many family camping sites, camping sites for young people, luxury apartments, campsites with static caravans and lots of surf lodges. In my personal experience the best surf lodge in Newquay is Goofy's, which is situated on Headland Road. It is very reasonably priced and the owners are really helpful! There are lots of nice restaurants with a lot of variety, my favourite would be Senor Dicks on the High Street (next to Bertie's Nightclub) which is a Mexican. Jamie Oliver has a 15 restaurant just down the road at Watergate Bay which is a must see as it is a beautiful beach with stunning views. There are lots of places to visit in the Newquay area such as Padstow, St Austell, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Helligan and much more. Further South of Cornwall there is also Polperro, Land's End, Penzance and St Ives which are all worth a visit! The bars and nightclubs in Newquay are all very reasonable and boast a lot of drinks promotions and events. It does get very busy however so there can be queues for entry and drinks and the town centre gets very busy. I recommend going out on a Monday night to The Chy/Koola Bar which is next to Towan Beach (opposite Walkabout). The music is brilliant and the club night is just fantastic, you have to get there early though to get in!

Advantages: A quiet and restful island with plenty to do and see that takes you back at least 30 years. Disadvantages: You may just go to sleep from the quiet.

Advantages: Interesting menu. Nicely presented food. Lovely light and airy location. Stunning views. Disadvantages: Hard to park nearby during the day and summer season.
