NEWQUAY EXPERIENCE- Newquay is ideal place for a short break or family holiday there is so many things to see and do in and around and suits all tastes.
If it is a Beach holiday you want then Newquay is great because it is situated on the north coast of Cornwall and it is blest with many lovely bseaches which you can surf and laze about on . Also if you are keen on walking there are coastal walks to venture on and while you are walking you will be able to take in the scenary and the breathe taking views around the coast line which I find amazing.
There is a variety of places to safe from Hotels ,B&B, Guest Houses, Self Catering and Surf Lodges to choose from and this is depending on the type of holiday you would like to expericience.
When I was there I managed to rent out an apartment which was in walking distance to the town and for beaches. {Newquay & Fistral Beaches}.That was ideal as when we were there we did not have to use the car.
To get to Newquay one can drive, take the train, bus or even take the plane . When you get there it is also easy to get around by walking, bus or even the car .
Not only are there many sandy beaches to visit there are other places to visit such as the Blue Reef Aquarium, Dairyland Farm World and Trenance Park & Gardens and many other places to see these are only a few of them which I have enjoyed visiting during my trips down to Newquay. Also I have enjoyed the beach and one of my favourite one is Fistral Beach which the great sandy beaches which is very ideal for families and great for surfing.
There are Fishing and Surfing Festivals which are very well supported so if you a re planning to visit Newquay around the festivals book your accommadation earlier as it does get very busy.
There are many cafes, restaurants to try and of course when you down in Cornwall one needs to try the Cornish Pasty and there are so many flavours and combinations to try. Then there is cream teas with Cornish clotted cream never have tasted anything else like it.
If you enjoy fish this is a great place for you as Newquay is well known for its fishing and it goes back as far as 1439 when the fishing community around Newquay first began.Today it still has at least twenty official fishing vessals. They fish for Shellfish.Pollack, mackerel ,sardines, bass and ling.It is nothing better than eating fresh fish there is such a difference.
The weather can be a challenge but if you are familiar with our British weather then you will know that it can be unpredictable wherever you are in Britain.
So if you re looking for a short break have a look at Cornwall and visit Newquay and all that this place offers and the surrounding area. Just check it out for yourselves. I only have briefly mentioned my experience of Newquay.

Advantages: A quiet and restful island with plenty to do and see that takes you back at least 30 years. Disadvantages: You may just go to sleep from the quiet.
