Advantages: It is very friendly, drive on the Left hand side, and mostly speak English Disadvantages: You can't lay on the beaches in the winter, and the evenings are cold.
car park is now one way in - one way out. leaving the sea front safe and clean.
I can honestly say that the promanade now competes with the South of France.
So to continue on with the review of Paphos I will leave you to read on.....
Paphos is Ideal for all year round holidays. Many thinks so but there are some unlucky holiday makers that have come here in the winter, are really disappointed. Honestly I can't blame them either. Unless you know what to do and where to go. it can be really boring, looking drab, and even the beaches don't look very special. Many of the harbour shops are closed and other stores are nor fully stocked.
I would however like to address the balance.
Paphos can be wonderful any time of year, but in the winter you need to go to the right Hotels, in the right part of town. I do not recommend a holiday ...

Advantages: Charming combination of the old and the new give this resort something for everyone. Disadvantages: Heat oppressive at height of summer. Some areas rather loud and built up

The pool area was amazing. As you swam in the pool it actually looked out to the sea, heaven. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful.
Best of all was the "all inclusive" restaurant. The choice was overwhelming. The breakfast menu had everything you could imagine and every night there was a theme, ie. chinese, mexican english etc. There was also an "al a carte restaurant which was seperate from the the main ...
