Advantages: Central for touring and activities Disadvantages: None
...My wife and I have just spent a few days in The Symphony Craws Nest Hotel in the Fife village of Anstruther pronounced something like Ainstraur by the locals. The Hotel was first class with nice clean rooms, excellent restaurent and bars and the staff were very, very friendly. We visited all the coastal towns and villages, from St Andrews to Levenwith possibly Crail being our favourite. There is possibly more golf courses in Fife than in any other county in the country ranging from the well known home of golf - the Old Course, Kingsbarns, St Andrews Bay, Elie, Crail. As well as these captive birds, so to speak, there are many wild birds that fly through the woodland areas and we spotted a number of finches and tits as well as thrushes and house martins who were nesting in the eaves of the Manor. Unfortunately we weren't lucky enough to spot any woodpeckers but were informed that there were some about.
The butterfly house was very hot and humid but as we were already used to the heat from outside, we ventured in. Inside the heat hit us like a tonne of bricks and we felt we couldn't stay in as long as we would have liked to. There were lots of big and beautiful butterflies flying around and I have to admit I had to stop myself from swatting one that flew rather close to my...

Before writing about this book, I'd like to tell you about a different book. It's a work of nonfiction, 'The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test' by Tom Wolfe ('A Man In Full', 'The Right Stuff'), and I don't think I exaggerate when I say it compelled me to read more
