...The place to visit once in Saint Petersburg! Even when you're not that much interested in arts or history, it's the place to be an feel the atmoshpere of the old Russian times. Exhibitions change from time to time and can be checked at www.hermitagemuseum.org Make sure you get a map when entering, otherwise you will get lost. Give this visit an early start when you want to get the most out of it or make a selection before. The exhibitions give an impression of the life of the old tsars, their power and wealth. The history of Saint Petersburg, his people, etc. The biggest part of the collection is arts collected by the tsars. For example, more then 50% of the work of the famous Dutch painters is shown in The Hermitage. Tickets can be purchased online to avoid the sometimes long lines for the counters. Advantages: Just across the road from the BIC

...We stayed at The Hermitage Hotel in Bournemouth for one night, we found that all the staff were attentive and helpful. We had coffee down stairs in the lounge section greeted by a smiling waiter (nothing seemed too much trouble ) then went shopping. We had a three course meal in the evening before we went to see a show at the BIC the eveing meal was excellent ( better than some of the restaurants in the area ) again the staff were attentive but not over powering we did not feel rushed but enjoyed the atmosphere. The room was clean and up to date, the television only picked up 4 channels when there was suppose to be more. We had breakfast in the morning good food but have had better, i feel that maybe a self service of the whole service would be better. ...the soap and even opens the tap for you to wash your hands. By far, the best service we experienced on our holiday. All Spice - Arpora / Baga Another restaurant that was highly recommended by other holiday makers in our resort. It was about 7minutes walking distance from our resort so very convenient. Everytime we drove past, it was very busy with people at the bar waiting to be seated. Service was very good and the food choice was vast giving a choice that would suit everyone. The decor was very simple like an open shak with a roof above. Most restuarants have fans to keep the mosquitos away but somehow they always manage to attack. But not here! It wasn't until I looked under the table I noticed a burning incense that we were told later was to keep mosuitos away. Price was again very reasonable. We paid about £22 for 4 people which...
