The rooms themselves are spacious, modern and quite luxurious (for Greece!). Each room contains a large fridge plus tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a TV with some Greek and English channels. It was also a nice touch to find a fresh flower in a vase had been placed on a counter top - another pleasant and surprising welcome.
The bathrooms are simply gorgeous, particularly noting the large power-shower cubicles (a rarity in Greece). Balconies are relatively private and all are surrounded by lush greenery and flowers, perfect for lazing on late afternoon/early evening.
The pool/bar area is always kept spotless and never gets too busy. It is quiet and very private, so you can relax and enjoy yourself without interruptions from road noise etc.
Location wise, you couldn't ask for much better. Skala beach with its sand and shingle and clear blue waters is right accross the road. Skala village centre is less than a ten minute walk away, and has many shops, restaurants and bars to enjoy.
The only downside about this hotel is the fact that you don't get much of a "Greek" experience staying here - unlike some other places, you won't be able to sit and watch the locals as they go about their daily business, or be woken up by goats/donkeys/chickens/barking dogs. Make of that what you will!
