I have been to Majorca twice in the last three years. On the first occasion, I went with my husband and our two children who were 4 and 2 at the time. We chose Majorca because of the relatively short flight time of two hours. We stayed in Alcudia at the Marte Hotel which is in an all inclusive complex which also includes the hotels Jupiter and Saturno. We went in the second and third weeks of May. The first week was very unsettled, rainy and windy, but the second week was beautiful and the temperature got warmer by the day. The resort of Alcudia is very busy but geared more for families rather than singles. The beach is sandy and very clean.

Advantages: Lot's of places to visit Disadvantages: Sometimes coach journeys are too long
We decided to go to majorca at the end of June this year as it was the type of holiday we needed somewhere where we could relax.
We decided to do bed and breakfast at the Hotel cala Azul in Cala D'or, which is in the south a quite quiet place with lot's of small beaches.
The people in the hotel we friendly and polite and where there to help you whenever you needed it. The hotel was lovely we were on the second floor which meant we had the view of the sea and the mountains and having a balcony meant we could eat outside at night. The hoteal facilties consited of a restaurant and bar, childrens entertainment 2 pools and 1 samller baby pool, sun loungers, gym, 2 cafes and night activities.
The places we visited were wonderful we booked them via our hotel and there is a meeting point for each hotel to get the coach we went to ...
