Anyway, now onto the food, and where to start? The menu which we were presented, with doesn't follow western convention with a starter, main course, desert etc. Uncertain, I asked the waiters for a bit of assistance. The afore mentionned helpfulness and knowledge of the waiters was now put to use and they were willing to help me out. If you would rather just go for a set menu you could go for the omakase menu, which offers a sort of overview as to what is available, with chef's specialities.
Eventually settling on what to eat, I chose black cod with sweet miso sauce, shrimp temura (deep fried basically) with a creamy sauce. Though not a particular fan of raw food, at first I was a bit apprehensive, though after a few wary nibbles, I started to really enjoy it as it offered a very vlean, fresh, crisp taste, which you dont always get with other foods.
The atmosphere whilst eating was quite relaxed and on this occasion we didn't spot anyone famous which I am told is pretty unusual.
Lunch costs about £25 per person and dinner about £50. The restaurant has, i think, 150 seats and remember to book in advance!
