First of all, if you are thinking of visiting this hotel, get a copy of the Hilton leisure brochure. Summer 2002 rates start at £24 each B&B- 2 sharing- which is an absolute bargain.

Very central, just in front of Bradford Interchange Station. Driving into the town is fairly easy, but watch the one way system. You park in the NCP car park next door, chargable at £2.50 night or £5.00 day with discount tickets from the hotel.

Front rooms overlook the town hall, which is lovely and worth asking for- only moan is the clock striking each hour. Rear rooms are quieter.

All rooms are well furnished, very clean and very comfortable. Great bathrooms! You can get a "club room" for an extra fee with booking which gives you a better room with extras; or for a bit more still an "Executive Suite". I would ask for a room higher up, as the views are better.

Breakfast is superb- a buffet of everything you can think of; continental and cooked. Well worth getting up for! The chef will cook omelettes, fish etc if you want them. The chef on duty when we stayed was really friendly and helpful.

Room service dinner- we had fish and chips- at £5.95 each I felt was inexpensive. However, as it is only a few minutes walk into the town to eat, the choice is yours.

There is more to do in Bradford than you think. It is a hilly town, but quite good for shopping. I was pleasantly surprised; and will certainly go back. The museum of photography- five minutes from the hotel- was also good.

A great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, and reasonable prices in the bar- try it!

Norfolk Gardens (Hilton) Hotel (Bradford) - review by MelNorthernLine

Advantages: Very centrally located, & very modern.
Disadvantages: Small portions on the meals & quite pricy, although not really majorly overpriced for a Hilton.
