Hotel La Paix

Advantages: Useful location
Disadvantages: Proximity to church bells.

Forges-les Eaux is a small town North of Rouen just off the Autoroute north to the channel ports. It is an ideal stop-off and is also a good base fro exploring the Bay of the Somme. At night this is locked and is accessible by using a key-code( thoughtfully written on the room-key). reception is bright ...

Try the Trou Normand- apple sorbet and Calvados, supposed to enhance the appetite. ...

As a romantic weekend getaway I cannot understand why more South Coast English do not flock to tkis lovely place as it is a relatively easy hop across ...
...If you havent been to Normandy, please dont hesitate, it has a style which is different from other areas of France and a cuisine unique to the area. This hotel is not cheap but in my opinion for a few days is an affordable luxury, September would be an ideal to travel as it is less busy and I assure you that you will return! ...

...trip. The chateau was built in the 17th century, it is set in large, well kept grounds and even has a pond with overhanging trees. Prices range from 60 euros for a basic double room to 136 euros for a 5 person suite. All rooms have on suite facilities, phone and TV. Breakfast is included in the room price. I should mention here that all there bread is made on site in there own old bread oven, have a look when you go into the breakfast room. I should ...
