Good breakfast.. shame about the rooms

Advantages: Nice breakfast. good location
Disadvantages: Broken things in the rooms, insects in the first room

I think we had a special deal since there were so many people from the wedding staying there, but a double room for 2 nights including breakfast was 1400NOK. Quality Hotel Grand Farris, Larvik

Advantages: Helpful staff, good rooms
Disadvantages: As with all Scandinavia can be pricey

I stayed here over Easter of this year (2008) which was great even the 3feet of snow was wonderful! Just what you want in Norway! The hotel as you walk through is very modern apart from the lift....i suggest you take the stairs if you have a lift phobia!! The receptionist was lovely and she spoke english very well! Kipping down near Oslo airport

Advantages: Next to Gardermoen airport, good service

When we booked our holiday to a cabin Norway I made a fundamental error and miscalculated the time it would take to get from Oslo Gardemeon airport to the fjord area of Norway. A fabulous hotel to stay !

Advantages: Four Star Hotel with fabulous food and excellent facilities. Friendly staff and easy access to skiing.
Disadvantages: None experienced

I have just returned from a short skiing holiday to Norway where our party of 8 (4 Adults and 4 Children) stayed in this wonderful hotel. Our accommodation was half board. The rooms were comfortable, with private bath or shower, WC, mini-bar, cable TV and hairdryer. The food was FANTASTIC !
