Nottingham is not one of the better known racetracks in Great Britain and the facilities, quality of racing and viewing leave a lot to be desired compared to more illustrious tracks, however, believe it or not the racecourse has been improved ten-fold in recent years. It was only about ten years ago that the grandstand was burned down by local yobs and the place was to be blunt, a dump.
