Advantages: Vibrant ,hip, entertainment. Disadvantages: Expensive, crowded at weekends
ClarkeQuay is one of the most popular riverside haunts in Singapore and it is not hard to fathom out why. It features five blocks of restored warehouses and is home to hip entertainment -Singapore style- a Sunday flea market, eateries, and a wide mix of shops. The Sunday Flea Market is a big fun event with street musicians, baloon sculpturing, face and henna painting and more than 100 stalls selling a wide array of antiques, arts and crafts, and other odds and ends.If you cant make it on a Sunday dont worry at other days of the week you will little shops selling second hand goods, antiques, silk wear, and accessories.
Other attractions include the ClarkeQuay Satay Club which specialises in mouth watering satay and barbecued seafood. At night time, theme pubs and bars are there for your entertainment. This is just about the best spot ...

Over recent years the 19th century 'godowns' (warehouses) have been renovated and ClarkeQuay is now a leisure ...
Advantages: Shopping, Cleanliness, Nice People Disadvantages: HEAT!!!
Uniquely Singapore!! This is this city's catch phrase. It can be seen on signs as soon as you walk off the plane the moment when you do depart and they wish you a found farewell as the plane departs this fine city.
I am not sure what I thought I would expect from Singapore. However, whatever it was did not even compare to what I found in this spectacular city!
Upon arriving at the Changi airport, one becomes completely in awe of the airport which supports it's own stopover hotel, free movie theatre and spa! This is not to mention the vast amounts of shops and restaurants.
~Immigration~
On departing the plane, you make your way through the beautiful corridors filled with live plants and flowers of spectacular beauty, to the immigration lines. As the airline had not handed out immigration cards before arrival in Singapore ...
