I visit Grenoble regularly for business, and now am a regular at this hotel, I no longer have to give my name when checking in!
Of all the mid to upper range hotels in Grenoble, this is by far the most convenient. 2 minutes walk away from the station, 10 minutes walk from Grenoble town centre.
There is easy hotel parking under the hotel (Charged sadly) which cannot be said for some other hotels in the area. Parking in Grenoble can be a nightmare. If you want to rent a car several large hire car firms have offices in the station. If you rent a car with Hertz, you can even return the keys at the hotel check-in.

The rooms have been recently updated and offer a very pleasant stay. Breakfast is a bit expensive for what it is, but this is the curse of most hotels.

There is no free high speed internet in the rooms, but a pay as you go wireless service is available.

If you can get a room on one of the upper floors should be guaranteed a wonderful mountain view. [Provided it isn't raining!]
