Quick review of Novotel Ieper Centrum Flanders Fields, Ypres
We booked and paid for three rooms two months in advance, but when we arrived we were told there were no rooms available-they had apparently been given to a coach party that had arrived just before us. We asked to speak to the manager or duty manager but were told they were not on site and could not be contacted.
After a long delay we were offered inferior, cheaper accommodation, 20 minutes drive away in another town, and our evening in Ieper was ruined.
I have written to the Hotel but have not even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement. ...
