Advantages: Great location. Competitive price. Pleasant rooms. Disadvantages: Typical carbon copy hotel. No real originality.
For those of you who follow me regularly it?s time I got back to the hotel reviews as this is where my real passion lies. Now you may think that all my luxury travels are over with a review on the Novotel but trust me they are not! Needing a quick bed for the night in the middle of the city I chose the Novotel and surprisingly I actually enjoyed myself!
Booking
Before I booked my hotel I browsed the net to look at the options available and the prices I would expect to pay. After a trawl on tripadvisor and expedia it became clear that the Novotel was going to be best for my needs. 4*, good location, good price.
I believe in booking accommodation with the property directly as you can tend to get more of your preferences agreed over the phone this way. I booked my room for £69 for a Saturday night stay including breakfast for two ...

Advantages: Some classic songs. Bang Bang!! These Boots are made for Walking. Disadvantages: quite repetative. Too many songs on the album
track which is a nice touch.
There are 6 colour photographs of Nancy, and i must say she look fantastic. If only I were 30 years OLDER!!

Blackpool is a place that is famous for its illuminations, and as a child of the west coast of Scotland, every autumn there have been day trips and short breaks available from my hometown to Blackpool for this visual feast.
I have only ever been to Blackpool on day trips but really fancied seeing the illuminations for once in my life so on the spur of the moment, I decided to see if I could book a hotel with parking and go for a weekend.
Eventually I settled upon the Premier Inn Blackpool Central, lured in by the fact it has a large free car park and the "central" in the hotel's title.
Before I proceed with this review I have to take issue with Ciao stating this hotel is called "Blackpool South" - the title is incorrect as Premier Inn call this "Blackpool Central". However all the other information Ciao have for this hotel is correct ...
