***This is a review only of the Spa facilities at Malmaison Newcastle, which can be used by hotel guests or visitors. As we did not stay overnight here, I cannot comment on the rest of the hotel, though everything we say and experienced was exquisite, and I would definately stay at one of their sister hotels if I am travelling away from Newcastle***

Their Petite Spa had just been refurbished, and so I decided this was the place to go. It was my mam?s 50th birthday on August 31st and we wanted to do something special to celebrate. My dad decided to book a table at Azzurri in Newcastle (on the Quayside) as a surprise for my mam and we invited my Nana and my aunties and uncles. There?s too many of us for the whole family (cousins and their children) to all go for a meal together but we ended up with a party of 13.
