Advantages: It is a clean and comfortable place to stay. Disadvantages: I would not have liked to stay there for a week.
...I stayed in the NovotelYork for one night and during that time had an excellent stay. To start with the staff, specifically on reception, were wonderful and very helpful. Secondly the rooms were immaculate and the beds were comfy. When asked the hotel supplied me with an extra pillow very quickly. The films available on the hotel's tv service were reasonably new releases and of a wide selection (they weren't too expensive either.)
Breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety of choices, although I didn't have dinner there so cannot comment on that.
There was also a good sized car park.
The hotel was a very good distance to all of the places that I wanted to visit, this was its selling point for me.
Overall my stay was comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and breakfast was good. I would recommend...

Advantages: A great city for kids Disadvantages: Can be very hot or very cold

All information is presented in layman's terms.
One big draw is the Omnimax Theatre, featuring a wraparound screen with digital sound.
The Science Centre is open every day from 10am to 5pm, except Christmas. Entry is $8, which is a bargain for a day's entertainment. There are snack bars throughout and picnic areas (inside and out) where you can eat your own food.
FORT YORK
Fort York is a great place to learn about the history of Toronto. The city traces it's origins to this military post, and the emerging town was originally known as York.
The Fort is located on Garrison Road, off Fleet Street, and can be reached by the Bathurst (No. 511) streetcar. It's a 20-minute walk from Union Station.

...This is a good central location within easy reach of all the main attractions on offer in Toronto. Clean, simple, comfortable accomodation to relax in after your journey. Step out of the front door and the imposing CN Tower is quickly within your sights and just a short walk away. The friendly and attentive staff are willing to offer you any help and advice you may need to make sure you get the most out of your stay in this fascinating and cosmopolitan city. Make sure you enjoy the hearty full 'Canadian' breakfast to set you up for the day ahead!
