Ideally Located For A Reading Pub Crawl

Advantages: Nice and central, cheap price
Disadvantages: The extras are a little bit expensive

...makes a night in a Novotel, a 4 Star hotel, very much an affordable proposition. Ok it's not as affordable as a Travel Inn or Travelodge but at the same time the service and quality of the hotel is that little bit better. They do try and make the saving back on the additional items but that's only to be expected and after all you don't have to take them up on them.

THAT'LL BE £180 FOR LAST NIGHT

Advantages: clean comfortable
Disadvantages: see review

. Access to the bar and restaurant is okay, though going through the bar may be difficult especially if it's busy, so use the restaurant entrance. Overall: generally speaking I would recommend the hotel, particularly if you are able bodied. The hotel is spotlessly clean, offers good hot food, and is very comfortable. Rates for the hotel vary we got an internet offer at £69 PER ROOM per night (no breakfast), though if you walked in off the street the advertised price was £180 per room per night. Breakfast in the hotel is £12.95 for full English or £9.95 for continental in your room. I particuarly like the fact the charges are PER ROOM, andnot per person. Each room can sleep two adults and two children (under 12). Thanks for reading-Dave http://www.novotel.com/novotel/index.html ...

Review of Novotel London Tower Bridge, London

A Sophisticated Stay in Cardiff

Advantages: Sophisticated, swimming pool, comfortable
Disadvantages: Expensive

is definitely worth a visit. The only downside to the location is probably that its quite near some rather run down warehouses which we accidentally walked through on our way into Cardiff, but I?m sure these are avoidable and we only made this mistake once! Also, when we first arrived it took a while to find the hotel as the direction we had arrived from didn?t have much signage. However on you walk into the city centre that evening we saw loads of signs pointing the other way. ~~The Hotel~~ From the outside as well as the inside the Novotel looks pretty posh. Check out my photographs to see some pictures of the new and old building together. I?ve read some other reviews on ciao that commented on the amount of building work going on to change this Novotel into a New Generation Novotel. Well I?m happy to say that all ...

Review of Novotel Cardiff Centre, Cardiff

Stay away! Much better places but plan ahead

Advantages: Location
Disadvantages: Where do I begin?

My family has just moved to York from Atlanta. We figured we'd make our first big trip something local, i.e., a drive down to London for the weekend. Tried to find a place near the city attractions but had difficulty. Plan ahead if going to London. Found the Novotel Waterloo. Okay, I know they're a major chain, thus, lets try them out. The Novotel Waterloo on Lambeth, decent location to access all the city center attractions. I read ahead of time that there's something called a Congestion Charge. Calling the hotel, Novotel stated it would show-up on the hotel bill. Mistake-1. Arrived Friday-nite and parking out front had several cars. I had to park behind the cars slightly in the street. My family stayed in the car while I went to reception. Inquiring about the parking, the reception desk staff stated the car was fine ...
