Nuremberg airport in southern Germany is located about an hour and a half north of Munich. It is a small but very nice airport. It is very easy to find your way around inside the airport. The way to the airport is also very easy. It is well signposted and just easy to reach. Because of its small size you do not need to check in hours before your departure. Sometimes it is sufficient if you turn up at the airport just 30 minutes before your flight. (That depends on the airline though.) It has three flights to London-Stansted daily. They are operated by Eurowings (in co-operation with Lufthansa). Even though the airport is relatively small it has everything one might need. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, and it is very clean. The only thing that could be improved are the short stay parking spots right in front of the terminal. There should be more of them so that going around the block ten times can be avoided! However, there are lots of parking spots in the airport's several multi-storeys. All in all Nuremberg airport is a nice small airport; I can only recommend it!
