Nuwara Eliya is full of the beautful scenery, falling waterfalls and more that you could expect from one of Sri Lanka's extreme areas. It's long winding roads lead all the way up the mountatins through valleys of Tea Estates. There are many hotels in Nuwara Eliya, near the center of town. One of the most famous and luxurious is the Grand Hotel. It is an old colonial house which has been transfered into a massive hotel with a brand new wing just added on with a gym, sauna, shops and more. Nuwara Eliya also boasts some other great hotels which are of equal stature to that of the Grand Hotel. It does get a bit chilly up in the hills of Sri Lanka, so take some warm clothes.
