We stayed at this 3 star colonial-style, oceanfront hotel in Mombasa for a little over a week and we went half board.
The hotel is only a short drive from the airport which i feel is quite important as there is nothing worse than getting off a long flight and then having to get on a coach for hours to get to your hotel...
Each room has air conditioning, a free newspaper each morning, a refrigerator, telephone, television ... ...room, broadband internet access, safe to store valubles, tea and cofee making facilities and a balcony with lovely views.
We had a fantastic time at this hotel and found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was kept very clean and there was lots to do so you never got bored..
Some of the facilities included a hair salon, currency exchange, gift shop, childrens club, room service, ... more

The hotel was kept very clean and there was lots to do so you never got bored..
Some of the facilities included a hair salon, currency exchange, gift shop, childrens club, room service, casino, health spa, a large swimming pool, tennis, hot tub and a fishing pool for the children...Plus more!
The hotel is surrounded by lovely, well kept gardens which was really nice and something a little different..
The hotel organized various day trips such as dolphin watching, fishing, safari and other boat trips which were easy to arrange and fairly cheap to do.
The food was very nice and always fresh, the breakfast was especially good and the bacon and sausages tasted just like back home and were very good quality, they even had all the Heinz sauces which was nice, there was a buffet resturaunt and bisto and there was two bars serving a good selection on alcholic and non alcoholic drinks.
This hotel was located just 9 km from Mombasa so the location was good.
The evening entertainment was good and there was different things going on every evening.
This hotel would be ideal for families and couples..
My overall thoughts were that this is a lovely hotel with loads to do and the staff went out of their way for you every day, very stylishly decorated and a really nice relaxed atmosphere..a great location and right on the beach which was just gorgeous!
